Episode #48 - Leadership Under Pressure

Leadership is subjective. Everyone has their version of it. But what truly makes an outstanding leader? To me, it’s someone who can withstand adversity, a crisis, challenge the status quo, move into dangerous territories, manage different human agendas, work through propaganda, love their team, great planners and problem solvers, and at the same time maintain a calm, grounded composure with a big heart.   I had to search high and low to find a leader who could tick all of these boxes. Through thick and thin, I found him.   Meet Mark Ashby. A man who understands the battleground at the highest military ‘elite’ level. A man who has walked parts of Iraq that you and I will never know. A man who fought for freedom, morality, and a driving passion to bring his team home.   I have never met anyone like this human. His superpower is bringing the best out of people. He is the greatest storyteller I have ever met. His stories touch the soul at a deep level and he can turn any complex situation into simple.
