Shot through with woke talking points
The second episode started very light with the comments about a black man being treated disrespectfully in a WW1 setting. That was fine and it makes sense. The third episode has women talking together in contemporary times about how they’ll always be working for “old white men” and the glass ceiling being so hard to shatter. I stopped there. Racism is bad in all directions and the idea that women are treated unfairly in modern times is absurd.

Fantastic audio performance
I usually listen to books that are simply read, no sound effects. I loved the immersion of this audio performance. It was definitely a treat.
Hat tip to the audio crew and the actors.
The premise of the story is definitely unique and opens a world of possibilities for a good writer.
To be able to travel through time and change events whether intentionally or unintentionally, it doesn’t have to be a noel idea when it is explored well and approached inventively.
Unfortunately, it seems the the writer(s) wanted yet another platform to demonstrate the racism of the past and the ever present glass ceiling that hangs over women’s heads while disregarding the accomplishments of women astronauts, pilots, CEOs, Drs, Lawyers, Mayors and Governors and endless other positions of authority and respect.
Just as our fated time traveler returned to the present when knocked unconscious, I was drawn back to the present, jarred to reality with a side conversation that added little/nothing to the suspense and atmosphere that was beginning to develop.
Sometimes people are inspired not by their limitations but by their possibilities.
Of course this is simply my opinion and you may enjoy it thoroughly. As for me, I’ll just change the channel.

why go woke?
I was really enjoying until the mention of "answering to old, straight, white men". why did this garbage have to make its way into everything? it doesn't help the story but it's apparently required now so 2.5 episodes is as far as I'll make it in what was turning into a great story.
