    SHOW NOTES: In Podcast Episode 312, “The Danger Zone of Mocking God,” Kim discusses the challenging passage in 2 Kings 2 in which the prophet Elisha is ridiculed by a large group of young men. Why would the Lord have judged the youths in the manner He did? Always remember the words of the Apostle Paul — “You cannot mock the justice of God.” Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Kings 2:23-25 with 24 as the focal verse: 23 Elisha left Jericho and went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, a group of boys from the town began mocking and making fun of him. “Go away, baldy!” they chanted. “Go away, baldy!” 24 Elisha turned around and looked at them, and he cursed them in the name of the Lord. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of them. 25 From there Elisha went to Mount Carmel and finally returned to Samaria.
