In 7:42, Isaac connects Daniel's not eating of the tasty food in Daniel 10:3 to the Genesis narrative. Though this connection stands, the Hebrew word used for desirable is different from but related to the word used in Genesis 3:6 "the tree was desirable (chamad) to make one wise..."
