  • Why Honor Fathers
    Jun 14 2025

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, discusses the history and origins of Father’s Day. He points out the irony of a country that is celebrating Father’s Day when national leaders cannot even define the definition of a woman, when there is debate over transgender athletes competing with females in sports arenas, and others asserting that it is possible for men to have babies and that there are multiple genders. Furthermore, in America more than 40% of all births occur to unmarried women and more than 50% of all marriages in the US end in divorce. All this results in the US having the highest rate of children living in single parent households in the entire world. After describing characteristics of families in the US, Dr. Hall goes on to outline what the Scripture has to say about the responsibilities of fathers in Christian homes, focusing on Psalm 78. It is emphatically pointed out that God is going to hold fathers responsible for the spiritual condition of their families. The role of God as our father in heaven especially in families where a biological father is not present is discussed. • Into The Clouds
    Jun 8 2025

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, discusses some of the biblical miracles that are so extraordinary that even the most devoted Christian may find them hard to grasp, miracles that break the rules of science and leave us amazed, confused and sometimes even puzzled. What is behind Christians’ belief in these miracles is explained in this discussion. Dr. Hall points out that the virgin birth and the resurrection of Jesus are two of the most celebrated miracles in Christian churches and although less celebrated the ascension of Jesus Christ is just as miraculous. The biblical account of the ascension is reviewed, and Dr. Hall identifies what the miracle of the ascension means to Christians. • Commence by Jesus
    May 31 2025

Ordained minister, Dr. Dennis Hall, comments on contemporary commencement addresses given to the graduates of high schools, colleges and universities. He points out that even Kermit the Frog has given a couple of commencement addresses. Dr. Hall quickly points out that the greatest commencement address of all time is found in the New Testament, John 13-17, the longest single recorded speech of Jesus. Psalm one is used to tell listeners about the consequences of walking with the wicked, standing with sinners and mockers. Dr. Hall reflects on how Jesus would address the graduates in a commencement address in today’s world. He points out that Jesus made promises that go beyond just wishing his followers success. As the podcast ends listeners are reminded that human understanding is limited but God’s wisdom is infinite. Can be heard on all podcast search engines.
