A double homicide of armored car guards in 1994, revealed a professional crew of armed robbers from, Charlestown, Mass. The investigation that followed found an unrelenting string of bank and armored car robberies, that continued, even after this botched robbery that netted $500,000. The trial crushed the code of silence that the criminals had counted on, if it truly existed at all. The murder of two working class guards turned the local population against the crew. It begins! The retrial of Karen Read is underway, approximately 9-10 jurors have been seated so far. A full jury is likely to be seated this week. Judge Bev denied the defense motion for a police policy and procedure expert Mike Easter. The judge says that normal police procedure is within the common knowledge of laypersons?

The third party culprit defense has been winnowed down to two potential culprits. Brian Albert and Brian Higgins. Colin Albert can no longer be considered with this dynamic duo. Judge Bev seemingly believed testimony that Colin left Fairview, prior to John's arrival. Had that been definitively determined?

An unsolved double homicide from idyllic Rockport, Massachusetts in 1932 rocked eastern Massachusetts. Boston Confidential interviews Robert Fitzgibbon, author of Murder In Rockport, Terror in a small town. The depression struck hard on Cape Ann, the quarry business dissipated and double digit unemployment was the norm. On May 21, 1932 town tailor Arthur Oker was found murdered in his shop, the following Halloween a fellow congregant Augusta Johnson had threatened in church that she knew who was responsible, and if they didn't turn themselves in she would go to the police. The Heath Street gang has been a blight on the Bromley-Heath Housing project for decades, but a large scale raid in 2024, has decimated the gang. The gang's members were deadly, but not very smart. During one foray into murder, one Heath Street gang member, shot another, while the duo tried to kill a gang rival. Another member conducted a shooting, while on an ankle monitor for another felony, that's the level of intelligence that the FBI and other authorities were dealing with.

How much weight will Judge Cannone give the new motion to dismiss for Extraordinary Government Misconduct? Will she dismiss the case? Probably not, but there will have to be some penalty. The motion is heavily redacted, at least on the Jury Tampering element, described by the defense. The motion also covers the inverted video in the sally-port and Brady violations pertaining to the video and Jen McCabe’s visit to Lt. Lank’s house, the day after John’s murder. Kimberly had a host of issues, crack cocaine chief among them. She was trying to get her life in order, so her seven year old child could have a future. She was walking with a friend Halloween night, when a pack of gang members ran them both down and beat them with a tree branch, they were robbed of one dollar and then Kimberly suffered what can only be described as nazi level torture. Kim was stabbed and slashed over 130 times. stomped and kicked countless times, but that wasn't enough for this rampaging gang, six of eight men raped her as well. She was left to die in Franklin Field, Dorchester, Ma. Eight men and boys, members of the Franklin Field Pistons Gangs were ultimately charged. The level of depravity shocked the City of Boston as the perpetrators were her neighbors. A shocking and senseless murder.
