    The Indiana Pacers defended home court to take a 2-1 series lead in the NBA Finals, there are some WNBA games to recap and preview, along with some updated futures markets in the NBA and WNBA. All of that and more will be discussed with Coach James Young on this episode.

    On our Tip Off Topics, we recap Game 3 of the NBA Finals as Indiana takes down OKC. How will the rest of the series go? Will OKC find a way to even back up the series or will the Pacers find as way to make it closer to reach the promise land?
    In addition, reports show that the Rockets, Mavericks, Hawks, and Timberwolves rejected the Knicks from interviewing their respective head coaches for the open Knicks head coaching position. Are the Knicks really scrambling and is it time to hit the panic button in New York? Slow, we recap the Wednesday (06/11) slate of WNBA games, including Paige Bueckers ma making her return from concussion protocol and putting up a historic 30+ points.

    On our Award Tour, we update the series odds for the NBA Finals and see where we can still find some value after three games have concluded. In addition, we update two teams in the WNBA with their wins totals in the Aces and Mercury. Should we take the over or under with the way those two respective teams are playing to start the 2025 season?


    Lastly on Coach’s Scouting Report, we preview Game 4 of the NBA Finals. Can the Thunder find a way to steal a game on the road or will the Pacers chip away to take a commanding 3-1 series lead. Also, Coach has a buzzer beater on his opinion regarding the NCAA’s new coach’s challenge rule for basketball. Is this beneficial or a detriment to the league?

    187: 6/10: Darius Garland Out 4-5 Months With Injury + NBA Finals Series Tied 1-1 + Are The Sky The Worst Team in WNBA?

    The Thunder were able to even up the series in the NBA Finals 1-1 defeating the Pacers in Game 2. In addition, there are major injury updates, some news, props/futures markets, and upcoming games that will all be uncovered on this episode with Coach James Young.


    First up on our Tip Off Topics, Thunder take Game 2 of the Finals and even up the series at one game a piece. The Thunder made adjustments and capitalized to secure the win. What does this say about the rest of the series going forward? A lot of major injuries news that dropped as well. Darius Garland will be out for four to five months, in which he needed surgery on his toe. Zach Edey will also miss the start of next season after undergoing ankle surgery. In the WNBA, sad news for the Sky as Courtney Vandersloot will miss the rest of the 2025 season with a torn ACL. Sad news for all these players and we’ll see about Cavaliers, Grizzlies, and Sky respectively respond after losing these key pieces for an extended period of time.


    On our Award Tour, we update the series odds and future specials for the NBA Finals. Coach will give you some interesting bets to take a flyer on as the series goes along. In addition, as they are undefeated, will the Liberty ever lose another game, if so when will that happen? Also, Coach has a firm belief that one of these teams is the worst team in the WNBA overall: Sky, Wings, or Valkyries. Who do you think it is?
