  • Venkata’s wife, Latha, following the instructions in the note, goes to a neighboring supermarket with the cash. But the kidnapper never turns up. The apartment complex had a reputation for being a haunt of drug-dealers. Could the abductor be a drug addict? Police swarm around the apartment complex and begin their search. Meanwhile the Telugu community pitches in and organizes a candle-lit vigil for the safe return of the baby. Venkata and Latha’s neighbours also rally around the stricken couple.
