  • 115 - You Gotta Use the Key
    Jul 11 2025

In this Abounding Love episode, I share certain "keys" found in Scripture that help us understand Spiritual Warfare better and help to unlock our Faith. Keys are a sign of authority. In prison, the ones who have the keys are the authorities. In Matthew 16:19, we read where Jesus gives Peter [and us] the keys to the Kingdom of God, telling him, "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven" (NKJV). Then in Acts 16:16-35, we see a story where the authority of the key bearer is obvious. In this story, the jailer has the keys he uses to lock up Paul and Silas, acting on the authority of the Magistrates. This podcast explores how such earthly authority in the second sense and Heavenly authority in the first sense, are found in Scripture with Heavenly authority being able to overrule the earthly authority. Join me as we examine these truths, plus for your study on keys mentioned as symbols of authority, see Isaiah 22:22; Revelation 1:18; 3:7; 9:1; and 20:1. Selah! • 68 - The Word of God
    Jul 4 2025

In this Abounding Love episode, I share what the term "The Word of God" means. In John 1:1, we find: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Then in John 1:14, we find: "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth." And in John 1:16-17, he states: "And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ." This message is divided into three (3) parts: 1) The Word of God, God in the beginning; 2) The Word of God, Jesus Christ, who came to redeem us from our sins; and 3) The Word of God that lives and resides within us through the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The Word was perfect in the beginning; the Word was perfect in Jesus Christ; and now the Word is perfect in us. As you listen to this podcast, you'll gain an understanding of these three aspects of God's Word. Join me as we look into other Scriptures as well, such as Psalms 107:20; 1 Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 9:6; John 17:17; and 1 Peter 1:23. Selah! • 59B - Let us...
    Jun 27 2025

In this Abounding Love podcast, I bring out the need to follow the Scriptures as if they were instructions to God's soldiers. "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work" (2 Timothy 3:16,17, NKJV). We'll look at a number of Scriptures, which all begin with the term, "Let us . . ." For example, in Romans, we see this introduction often: "let us prophesy . . ." (12:6), then, "let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly . . ." (13:12, 13a). These verses appear as instructions to soldiers on how to be effective in the battle against the kingdom of darkness. "Let us" vocalizes a conscious inner-choice to walk in the Spirit, speaking and living in agreement with God's Word, so we can effectively fight the enemy of our soul. Join me as we look into other "Let us . . ." Scriptures, such as Romans 14:13; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Galatians 5:25; 6:9; 1 Thessalonians 5:8; Hebrews 10:23-24; 13:15 and Revelation 19:7. Selah! Once I put Watson’s past aside, was easier to
listen. Have to 4get his past though to listen. He has pleasant cadence, rhythm , tone& sounds like my childhood small town Baptist preacher.

Good storytelling voice
