    IT’S DIFFICULT enough explaining why we Christians believe in Jesus, but doing so with our Jewish brothers and sisters requires tact and patience made necessary by almost 1,900 years of mutual animosity. We’re joined this week by Dr. Igal German, founding director of the Institute of Biblical Apologetics (BibleApologist.org) and Yesod Bible Center (YesodBibleCenter.com). We discuss Dr. German's journey from rabbinic Judaism to faith in Jesus as the Messiah, his work in apologetics, and the current state of Christian responses to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Dr. German emphasizes the importance of understanding apologetics as a defense of faith, the need for a strong Christian voice in support of Israel, and the mission to reach the Jewish community with the gospel. There is a complex historical and theological relationship between Judaism and Christianity, and we explore the implications of supersessionism, the interpretation of Messianic prophecies, and the role of education in bridging the divide between Christians and Jews—especially the importance of understanding the Jewish roots of the Christian faith and the need for compassion and sensitivity in evangelism. We explore the cult of the dead in ancient Israel, examining its practices, rituals, and the influence of ancestor worship. The discussion delves into archaeological findings, biblical references, and comparative analysis with other cultures, particularly focusing on the Rephaim and the significance of rituals like the Marzeah feast. The pervasive nature of these beliefs and practices in ancient societies is evident in biblical references to the Rephaim and the cult of the dead, and we discuss how these concepts have influenced modern spiritual practices. We also discuss how Jesus' ministry and the Last Supper serve were spiritual warfare against the cult of the dead, drawing parallels to contemporary practices that echo these ancient beliefs.     PRESIDENT TRUMP made more heads explode this week with his announcements about Gaza and the creation of a White House Faith Office. Leftists and Muslims are incensed by Trump’s proposal to rebuild Gaza, which they’re calling “ethnic cleansing,” conveniently forgetting that negotiations for a two-state solution to the Arab-Israeli problem have yet to yield results after about 90 years of trying. Meanwhile, liberals, atheists, and many conservative Christians object, for various reasons, to the appointment of Paula White-Cain to head up the new White House Faith Office. Let’s take a breath and wait to see how this plays out. Remember, what happens in your house is more important than who’s in the White House. Is the Bible extremely confusing?

This show helps to open your mind to the whole complex content of the Bible through the eyes of the Ancient Near East. Interviews with Scholars who specialize in specifics of the ancient language and the Ancients gods who were part of that ancient society. Mind blowing and totally worth the listen

Great connections from great minds!

The more that I follow Derek (let's not forget Sharon 😉) the smaller he seems to make our world! Derek has a way with the excitement behind his words/thoughts and his ability to make "easy" (or what's seen as easy in hindsight) connections to how we've been deceived by "the other team!"

I've always thought that voodoo was "wrong" but I've never bothered to connect it with nephilim/rephaim practices. Thank you for all that ya'll have done to put these pieces of the puzzle together and showing us what we've been missing and questioning!

Great Research

I love everything that comes out of the Gilbert House. I have listened to Tom Horn LAMarzulli Derek Gilbert Josh Peck. Im a amatuer researcher and in my opinion this is gold. The bible leaves alot of unanswered questions it even leaves alot of places for questions you dont even realize and Derek is amazing at finding this info making it entertaining enough to listen to without trying to be hollywood. I got started at 9/11 so i have listen to over 20 years of people and their research and Derek is at the very top of my list of peoples info i trust. Russ Dizdar was first but hes no longer here on earth with us so now Derek is number 1. Thanks for all you do i cant wait to hear more of what you have uncovered keep up the great work and thank you for all you and your team do may God bless all of you and your lives and your loved ones.

Excellent info!
