So, “deconstructing” from *the terrible baggage of secular ideologies, *the dreadful theology, and practices of SO many churches today to then reconstruct to the true biblical precepts set before us in God’s word is the call! Yes, in 2 Corinthians 13:5, Christians are called to:

“Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith.” IN THE FAITH, not adding sinful and self seeking ideologies to the faith because we disagree with God’s word. To Not conform to the world - Romans 12:2.

Nick Campbell with Christ is the Cure will be joining me today to discuss his upcoming book “Holidays and the Feasts” that is now available for order. Claims regarding the supposed pagan origins of Christmas always creep up this time of year and Nick put all his research, historical and biblical, into this helpful book that not only shows that the origins of the holiday are not pagan, but also lays out the inconsistencies of the arguments used in attempts to make these claims. Our conversation is a great teaser for the Christmas section of the book, but there are also sections of the book we didn’t get to touch on in this interview, namely a section on the supposed pagan origins of Easter and another on whether Christians are required to keep the biblical feasts.
