Healthcare workers

As a healthcare provider this story has been amazing to listen to. So wild to not know if your patients can really hear you or not. I work a lot in emergency medicine and intensive care. I’m sure I’ve had patient that I didn’t think they could hear me or really feel anything I’m doing. But to hear Jake’s story is wild to me. We’ve been discussing it at work and it’s definitely changed our outlook on patients who we think are not alive
