  • On the first day of the last week of Jesus' life - He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. Those gathered strew palms at His feet - an act of homage to the One they proclaimed to be: "the King who comes in the name of the Lord!" (Luke 19:38).

    But when a claim is made about Jesus' identity - you can bet: there will be opposition.

    The same is true for us today. Whether we exclaim it in a public setting, model the way of Jesus in our work or at home, or even confess in our own hearts that Jesus is Lord - you can bet: opposition will be close at hand.
