ある日、突如飛来したオレンジ色の母船によって光の中に包み込まれた早瀬進は、オリオン星団の中にあるという星に連れて行かれるが、そこにいたのは特殊な能力を持った若い女性ばかり。進の心は次第に地球を離れ、このオリオンの世界に取り込まれてゆく。ーー遠い星での不思議な体験と、大切な人への深い愛情の美しさを独自の世界観で綴った「誘惑の星」に加え、犬の繁殖工場で生まれ、新婚の男女に引き取られたヨークシャテリアのジュピの視線を通して、生きることの過酷さや切なさを幻想的なタッチで描いた「jyupi」を収録。著者の持つ唯一無二の感性が織りなす感動の２作品が、このたびオーディオブックで登場。
