GREAT SERIES!

LOVE IT!

I'm a post-apocalyptic/zombie junkie, and this didn't disappoint.
It was full of action and intrigue and plain FUN.

Narrated by one of my favorite narrators, Andrew Wehrlen.

Definitely check it out!! You'll be glad you did, I really enjoyed it! :)

Good Read

Zed's World Books One and Two was a good read by Rich Baker. A plague has been loosed upon earth. People find themselves fighting through hordes of undead. I enjoyed reading these books.

Great series so far

I enjoyed listening to the first two books. My favorite is book one. I wish more stories would go into detail leading up to the outbreak. It was nice to have the two books combined. Enjoyed book two as well. At first, I wasn't thrilled with the narrator, S.W. Salzman. For me, narrators can make or break an audiobook. I almost gave up, but I'm glad I didn't. Series is definitely worth listening to and using a credit. I'm starting book three. The third book has a different narrator and sounds great.

Zombies! SO fast! Everywhere

I liked how the Zombies came about to be. very cleaver. The story moves quickly, and has a lot of action packed into it.

It took me a bit, to like the narrator, At first, I just couldn't bond with his voice, but it got better over time.

Great story

This is a great story. Really enjoyed this only complaint is the cliffhanger!!! I love apocalyptic books and This one is a hit on my book.

I really liked these books

I initially felt this would be just another Zombie series.

These turned out to have a different story than I expected.

There is constant action and I like the way it switches back and forth.

The main characters for the most part do seemingly real life things during these first days.

SW Salzman is great with the narration!

Great Zombie Book

I truly enjoyed this story. Rich Baker is an excellent story teller. I love tales that emphasize the initial days of the outbreak.

A solid entry in the Zombie Apocalypse Genre

As the title says, this was a solid entry to the Zombie Apocalypse (ZA) genre, but I wouldn't call it anything new. As many of these books do, it follows several people or groups as they survive the ZA. I really appreciated that the author took the time to explain how the ZA came about. I can't tell you how many books I've read or listened to that fail to do that. The narrator was ok, he had a dynamic voice but only a couple characters had a truly unique voice. I wouldn't recommend picking these books up individually but if you are a big ZA fan, it's worth a credit.

Zombie apocalypse sans zombies.

Book two switches between character D-Day & tenants preparing for the zombie outbreak in a high rise in Denver; and a group of friends headed up by Ben & Robert traveling cross-country in an SUV to reach family and safety. There is lots of conversation, contemplating, and worrying with little actual zombie action. I was somewhat disappointed and struggled to get through. Narration was acceptable, but not much beyond that. This audiobook was given by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom.
