Welllllll...
The story has good bones. I personally see tons of red flags with this guy, especially with the beginning treatment of the children, then it happened again. ehhhh. Yes, this is a fluff story with your typical build up and let's downs, but I think it wasn't for me.
I don't care that it was virtual voice, I got to listen while I was cleaning.

So many disasters in the last 15 minutes
It could have been a cute story had the bones there even if the story was so slow at the start. Unfortunately in the last 15 minutes they had not one disaster of the ice not freezing, not just a second disaster of players backing out😱 not even just a third disaster would be enough with a flash flood that threatened the rink 🤦♀️ but it also had the ticket system crashed🤯 and they lost who already paid. But in just a few seconds AMAZINGLY they solved it all or a night in the storyline 🙄 very rushed and really made me drop my opinion of the story. Virtual voice made this so much worse than it was. So performance got just a 1 star the story went from a 3-4 to a 2 star after chapter 14🤦♀️🤷♀️

AI cannot tell a story with inflection
I'm sure this would have been a million times better if a real person had read it. There was no emotion and inflection in the story telling. So it was very monotone and not fun to listen to. I forced myself to finish the book. The story was cute, But was done a great disservice with the digital voice.
