Gut, aber nicht super..
Nachdem ich Marc Elsbergs erstes Buch “Blackout” gelesen und absolut geliebt habe, hatte ich mich sehr auf “Zero” gefreut, zumal mir das Thema eigentlich auch noch viel näher ist als Blackout. Ich war jedoch ein wenig enttäuscht von dem Inhalt. Schon direkt von Beginn an fiel es mir schwer, zu folgen. Es gibt viele unschlüssige Zusammenhänge in der Geschichte und viele unerklärte Sprünge von Situation zu Situation. Das Thema an sich war durchaus Unterhaltsam, allerdings hatte ich mir mehr erhofft, vor allem im Schluss. Mir scheint es als hätte Elsberg nahe dem Ende seiner Bücher irgendwie keine Lust mehr und versucht sie schnell abzufertigen, während er in manch anderen Teilen der Geschichte gerne unnötig ausgiebig ausschweift. Dies empfand ich auch beim Ende von Blackout so. Man verbringt Stunden in der Geschichte, in dem Mystery das sie umgibt und wird dann in den letzten 15 Minuten mit einer halbherzig beschriebenen Auflösung abgefertigt. Als investierter Leser/Hörer ist das irgendwie ärgerlich. Ich werde seinem nächsten Buch Helix vermutlich trotzdem eine Chance geben, sein Schreibstil ist trotzdem unheimlich gut.

Eigentlich gutes Thema - aber hanebüchene Dramatik
Gutes Thema, grundsätzlich gutes Erzählen und Lesung, aber die kreierte Dramatuk ist leider vollkommen an den Haaren herbeigezogen und für das komplexe Thema nervend naiv. - Sorry :/
