Fun series

I'm enjoying these. The crew of the ship is endearing and all York is the sweetest. Looking forward to Raff. These are pretty predictable and short. In a good way. The stakes aren't too high but there's a bit of excitement. The sex is hot but it's not too much. Laurann Dohner seems to enjoy writing an H who is less "humanoid" than most, but I can get into it. She gets pretty creative with the various anatomy and I will take that journey with her from time to time. Why not. I would love more Laurann Dohner available on AE. These are a perfect escapist treat for when you just want some fun romance in space.

I Love York. He is my favorite. So sweet to Sara.

I enjoyed this book so much. Characters are excellent, story is sweet, just the right amount of sex.

Sarah and York

This book was so good. York was so sweet. Sarah saved him from a miserable bonding and offered to bond with him herself. This book has more action, especially when a prince who bought Sarah as a sex slave wants her back. Luckily Sarah was saved before she was in his clutches. Cathian and the Vorge crew fought to protect Sarah. Samantha Summers did a great job with the narration.

I love the books I love the sex I love the author. some people think the sex is overdone but you know for those of us that only get it through the written word for one reason or another it's fine for me. the one problem is a lot of people that read for Ms Donner it's I wish they would just read the book or stop trying to be men so hard. and from one book to the next to be really nice that the characters voices didn't change. if it's the same reader why do you change the voice of the characters. it's rather annoying

I love this world

I love the world that these books are written in there’s four in the series on audible, and the other two are only available on Kendall or to buy in paper, and who cannot wait until she comes out with the next book in the series and I really wish Audible would record the other two booksI hope you enjoy them as much as I do

Yes Yes York! I love this story, I love how protective he is but not only that Sara is just as protective. I love the way they came to be.

Life for a human isn’t all that its cracked up to be in space. And Sara sees York and how he was being treated by a female that was to become his and she just couldn’t understand that kind of cruelty. So she seeks to change it and in the process, she is about to change her own life.

York is perfect for Sara but she is just as perfect for him. I love that the crew just accepted her with open arms just as they have everyone else mate. These stories are all so individual just connected. I can’t wait for the last book.

The narration is awesome again I love that each book is done in a new narrative but each narrator really brings these characters their own voices.

Kindhearted York

York was such a sweet, gentle, and kind alien. The fact that he was so alone now that Cathian and Dovis were bonded and wanted what they had hit me in the feels. He was willing to bond to a terrible woman to get some semblance of the love they had. Luckily, his chance encounter with Sara who sees how terribly he's being treated by his soon to be mate puts her future in his hands. Sara had a terrible life and was sold by her own planet in slavery. Its with York that she's find a future with him and life she never thought she would have. I also liked that this one is bit exciting with some action and we get to see Raff in action. Samantha Summers was good and I liked her as Sara a lot and made her voice go real gentle and kind for York.

So-so

Not enough building of the story or the two main characters. Ended abruptly on the main characters. Too much unnecessary talk about things that didn't move the story along. 😏 a bit disappointed

I’m really enjoying this series, however...

The narrator did not narrate York in a manner consistent with the first 2 books in the series. I could understand him sounding depressed in the beginning, because he was, but the narrator kept on voicing York in a sad whisper that wasn’t even connected to the dialogue or scene.

Love listening

I love these short stories that show us the lives of the crew aboard the Vorge.
The narration is very good. I will continue listening to the rest of this series.
Sarah is taken by Earth's government and sold to an alien race in exchange for technology. It wasn't to get married like they were told. It was to become a sex worker.
Due to circumstances she met York on another planet. He was set to bond to another woman from his planet because he was lonely.
