Yesterday's Dreams, book three in O'Brien's series called A Slip in Time, continues with our favorite characters, Francine, Luke, Dora, and Wade. The two sisters each love a Grainger brother, but one love has been fulfilled, while the other love is torn apart by two different centuries. Fran and Luke begin to make a wonderful life for themselves while living in her family's cottage. Many ups and downs keep this couple close to our hearts, as they struggle with decisions that will affect their future with fear of being discovered, and with illness that threatens the loss of life.

Dora has returned to her own century with a broken heart. She leaves the love of her life behind to sort out his problems with his family. Knowing she can never go back again, she tries to forge a new life while still keeping in touch with her sister in the 1880s through messages left in the trunk. As time passes we see Dora struggle to forget Wade, but illusive dreams continue to visit her in the night, tempting her to return to a crooked smile and loving arms.

Can’t put it down…

Great and entertaining narration and fun story line! Looking forward to Book 4… as well as the several books to follow!

I very much enjoyed

I very much enjoyed this 5 book series; A Slip in Time. It was a relaxing series to listen to as bedtime reading. O’Brien designed creative ways to incorporate the time travel element into the storyline of two sisters, Francine & Dori. I eagerly await additional books

I can't get enough of this series!

I raced through yet another of Jane O'Brien's books. So much for savoring it and taking my time! lolz.

This series just keeps getting better and better

I’m so happy I found this book series. I’m not sure how the author does it.. But you will fall in love with these books. They just keep getting better and better. 10/10 recommend this book and the 2 that come before this book!

Cheesy at times

I liked the plot but the writing isn’t very strong. I would like to have seen a better developed writing.

Yup, back with book 3. This is the worst! How on earth can a woman write a book where a female in the 21st century, feels she must marry because she's pregnant??? Honestly! It would be one thing if it was a decision based on religion or something but it isn't. She decides to marry because she needs a man to help her support her unborn child. Daniel (her hubs in the 21st century) is so unrealistic and only partly developed as far as I'm concerned.
