this book is a masterpiece!

write a must-read by AJ Harper changed my life! Not only that, it is changing the lives of people all over the world because she is enabling authors to share their messages. I because the book is so good, I read it first and then listened to the audible. AJ‘s performance in the recording makes the Audible come to life! I felt like we were sitting in a room and talking together because AJ is 100% authentic and her motive is to empower authors to believe in themselves, create a truly outstanding book, and to be a good person while doing it. If you want to write a truly great book, this is for you. This book has utterly transformed my approach to writing. I am SO grateful for the honest, supportive, and extremely practical advice she offers. It will pay dividends for my entire author career.

Write A Must-Read is Fabulous!

It will most definitely be one of the few books that I will continue referencing for the rest of my life. I'd recommend it to anyone who writes (even if you have already published a book), including writing college papers, blogs, or articles. AJ’s emphasis on putting the reader first is a central theme for which she provides plenty of useful examples. It’s already helping me organize my content in a clearer, more streamlined fashion. Hopefully, that results in readers finding my writing more enjoyable, too. The Audible version is great because it's the author’s voice and I could listen on my walks. However, within the first 20 minutes I ordered the hard cover, too. I knew I’d want to flip back through specific sections and have it out on the table when I’m writing. Now, when I get stuck, I can hear the author’s voice asking, “does the content/story/data/antidote serve your reader?” That simple question makes it easier to get out of head, keeps my pen moving, and thoughts flowing. Thank you for sharing all of your amazing experience and knowledge, AJ!!

This book gave me the courage, the steps and the actual formula to get the book that I’ve been saying I would write for the past 8 years actually off to the races. I wish I’d found this book before I wrote my first book. Now, heading into writing my third, I’m confident it will be more impactful! AJ’s writing is interesting, funny, and incredibly useful. You’ll walk away thinking it was written for you. And she’ll teach you how to give YOUR readers the same experience.

Let's talk about results...not just ideas

I have known of, followed, and had an opportunity to interact with AJ long before I read her book. And writing a book is not high on my list of things to do. But as the thought lightly passed through my head, I decided I should read/listen to it first (way before I was ready to get started).

I made this choice for many reasons, but the greatest driver is the results that her students/clients actually achieve. Lots of folks sell "help writing a book" programs, courses, and/or other offers of various types, few actually create observable results. AJ's students, on the other hand, are typically are selling more copies, receiving awards from serious organizations (not just top 10 whoever), and are talked about in multiple circles long after the initial launch.

And she also has real experience from all sides of the book writing equation which I believe creates much more valuable knowledge!

As writing a book move up my "to do" list, I have little doubt I will listen again, review and underline my physical copy, and keep it close at hand. AJ is the real deal and if writing a book is on your list, this is what you should read/listen to first!!

Excellent and helpful

I've written three books/audiobooks, two of the transformational nonfiction type this focuses on, and it'd have helped in various ways to have read this first.
