Though the cache of gold is never found, life goes on. Sam and Remi marry - and years later return to Greece to find the one treasure that got away.
Time becomes their enemy when the kingpin they helped send to prison over a decade ago is released - and he has two goals in mind. Wow What an Adventure!
This book is great, even with a little romance. In this book along with the regular story line we even get to hear how Sam & Remi met, and about their first date turned rescue. We even get to know a little bit different side of Mr Cussler because his books do not usually contain so much romance. Deffenately a great read.

I loved it!
There was only one other Fargo story that is still my favorite, but this one runs right alongside it. I am sad that this will be the last Fargo story written while Mr. Cussler was still alive, but I am sure that Robin will carry on in his stead as brilliantly as she did while Mr. Cussler was still with us. I really loved learning how Sam and Remi met. I know that was Robin's idea and that Mr. Cussler liked it. I'll be anxious to see the next book in the series coming and I hope it will be soon. Robin I loved the interview you did for the Poison Pen along with Dirk, kudos.

Favorite so far!
I’ve listened to many Cussler books on audible. Sam & Remy are two of my favorite characters. This book has been my favorite by far! Loved hearing the story of how they met. Would make an excellent movie!

Greatly Enjoyed this Book
Scott Brick is one of my favorite readers. He did a fabulous job as always narrating this story. I think this may be my favorite Sam and Remi book. Thoroughly enjoyed reading about how they met.
I cant wait for the next installment. Please write it soon!

Been waiting so long for this story!!
This is Sam and Remus backstory. It was awesome and wonderful and I wish it could tell more and more. There meeting at the lighthouse and everything else I’ve been wondering about.

ANOTHER GREAT SAM AND REMI FARGO ADVENTURE
Great story and Scott Brick is a great narrorator as usual. This book also gives you a great flashback on the early days of Sam and Remi's relationship.

This maybe one of the best books in the Sami & Remi Fargo series … Good origin story without being sappy … Scott Brick is an all around great reader - GOAT! … Thanks to Robin Burcell & Clive Cussler for another great entertainment escape
