I just started a wordpress website for my promotional company and this book helped me so much. It literally takes you step by step and gives great tips. Was an easy listen.

Technically Good

This book helps you by taking you step by step with the best suggestions possible. You get to understand the dashboard and feel confident by the time you finish it. Recommend if you are new to WordPress. The narrator's voice should be improved.

Easy

This audio guide me to step by step to use in wordpress. When using something it takes me a long time. With this audio I learned in know time.

Good walk through

This is a great audio book because you can do the steps as they are talked about in the book. There are a lot of different topics covered and this book gets you to a place where you are ready to start Blogging. I like that the book gives suggested items to add to your blog and suggested sites to use. I feel like the options are overwhelming sometimes and having the book give you a handful of recommend items is nice. This is a great book if you want to start a blog, I already have a blog but this book is still helpful to me. The only part that was a little weird for me was the section where it tells you to use retail me not, I just felt like it was unnecessary but oh well. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest unbiased review. This has not influenced my opinions on the book.

Good Wordpress Guide

So informative book. This basic fundamental guide for beginners is the resource guide that can help you not only understand what WordPress can do for you but also how to make it beneficial for your business and/or blogging needs. It's a great book.

Really Helpful Data

I was really awed by how much helpful data pressed in such a short book. General this book is extremely well. I like this book. simple to peruse and exceptionally instructive book moreover.

Good info, but challenging for an audio book

I've been creating WordPress websites for years, and the information in this audio book is mostly good. There are a few places where the author's bias shows through, such as recommending GoDaddy and Genesis Themes. Looking past that, the single biggest problem is having someone be able to really understand the information in an audio format, when the content lends itself to being visual. Still, as a veteran, professional WordPress developer, this information is valuable to both beginners and intermediate WordPress users. I recommend listening to it.

The narrator was very clear and easy to understand

The author guides you through the ins and outs of using Wordpress.
He goes into the subject of blog hosting and delves into:
How to build your Blog
Several different blog platforms
How to purchase a domain
How to understand hosting
And many other hints to help you ease into blogging.
He lets you know how to install Wordpress (best of all it's free) and informs you about the word press community, in case you need any help.
He gives you a lot of information on how to create a blog store, membership gallery, and photography.
His advice on Wordpress is that it's the easiest platform to use and it secures high-quality websites. He then gives you two options for Wordpress explaining the pros and cons of each so that you can decide which one would benefit you.
The author goes into how to purchase a domain and hosting and how to protect your domain and hosting. I wish he was less pushy on hosting and more informative on other companies equally. (it felt a bit one sided) Also, the chapters do not match the audio.

This audio is full of a lot of good information for those that are interested in starting a blog/site. Best idea is to purchase the book for your home library since you will need to refresh your memory from time to time. (there is a lot to cover on blogging)
Whispersync would come in super handy with this book.
The narrator was a good choice for this book. He was clear, easy to follow and sounds like someone who is well versed on the subject.
