Thank you, Jesus, for counting me faithful and putting me into ministry. 1 Timothy 1:12 When I was a little girl I would get in the mirror often and say mirror, mirror, on the wall who’s the fairest of them all? I would say to myself out loud my dear you are the fairest and most beautiful My Grandmother would always encourage me with her words of wisdom. If I would say I have one gray hair in my head. And how terrible that was! She would respond with God gave you that gray hair to distinguish you from others as, that is your beauty mark from God. Because, you are his precious daughter. I hung on to that and many more positive things she would say to me to accept myself. I remember making a declaration about my future at church that I wanted to be a priest, and everyone said you can become a nun and truly in my heart I knew God called me to his ministry & I thank him for choosing me every day! Don't let anybody ever tell you that you don't have enough faith. Romans 12:3 clearly reveals to us a great truth regarding this: "For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith." Did you catch that, it didn't say 'a measure of faith' but THE measure of faith? Our heavenly Father gives to each one, upon salvation, the same measure of faith. Then it's up to us, with His help of course, to develop that faith, through His Word and by use. I want to encourage you - you've got what it takes to do this! I say declarations & affirmations over myself daily in the mirror, while working, driving and praising The Lord! I have always affirmed myself and everyone around me. I believe we should always compliment & be very kind to each other. You never know that person could be having a bad day! Your affirming words can change someone’s life. I love to affirm strangers, friends, and family daily.
