Short Novella!

This is the first novella in the Bombshell Brides Series, an enemies to lovers/office romance. Effie and Guy's story is fun, steamy, and fast-paced. This is a great sunshine/grumpy romance. Beautiful ending. Lexi Evans and Tyler Darby did a good job bringing this story to life. Looking forward to listening to Runaway Bride, the next book in the series. #PFPAudio

Cute novella

Imagine waking up in Vegas, hungover and married to your boss. Wondering what he thinks and feels about this situation. Backtracking all around Vegas to figure it out. Cute story!

Very funny story

This is a fun story of two people who don’t like each other but after a drunk night wake up finding they are married and the fun that ensues a great quick read

🔥 Fast and HOT

This was a fast, fun listen that definitely spiced up my workout and a bit of my work day. Despite being a quick read, it showed good character development and managed to pack in plenty of angsty tension—very well done!
Based on this, I would absolutely read more from this author.

Excellent production with dual narration. Both performers are excellent and pack smooth voices. Would listen to either of them narrate just about anything. Another stellar 🦩Pink Flamingo Production—it seems you really can’t go wrong w/ them.

Short and Steamy Enemies-To-Lovers Romance

Woke Up Wed by Cassie Mint is a short and steamy enemies-to-lovers romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Tyler Darby and Lexi Evans.

This is the second book of Cassie's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I loved the chemistry between Guy and Effie. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book.

Tyler and Lexi did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life.

I would recommend this book if you like enemies-to-lovers romance, contemporary romances, or romantic comedies.

I’m glad this novella was so short because I am pretty sure I would have DNF it had it been a full length novel. It was cliche and unimaginative.

I just really didn’t like the FMC. I found her really annoying and had no clue why the MMC had been secretly attracted to her. Like if it was all physical fine I get that. But she was a hot mess with no respect for him or their work. She admits she is always late and she is constantly goading and teasing him and honestly not in a nice way. It really bothered me that she refused to call him by his first name when asked and it didn’t feel like a creature of habit thing. It felt like an “I’m going to do what I want” thing.

I liked the MMC much more than the FMC but he felt pretty two dimensional. I know this was a novella but I feel like there was time to give him a little more depth. It also really didn’t help that his name was Guy.

I listened to the audiobook and I think the narrators did a pretty good job and I was happier listening to this book than I was reading it myself.

Woke Up Wed is the first book in the Bombshell Brides series. This is my first book by Cassie Mint, and while it didn't WOW! me, it was Ok. It's a get wasted in Vegas and wake up married book between boss and assistant. While the book didn't have much depth to it, I laughed out loud at Effie and Guy's antics. I will definitely be giving Cassie's books another go.

Tyler Darby and Lexi Evans did a great job portraying these characters.

This is just a fun listen. To wake up in Vegas and find out you married your grumpy sexy boss, on a business trip. Lexi Evans and Tyler Darby did a great job narrating this book.

Riding the Bull

This feels a lot like The Hangover, only better, with Effie and Guy Coltrane unable to remember their antics from the prior evening. Retracing their steps proves to be funny and interesting. And steamy!

I previously read this when it first came out. It was fun revisiting these two. Mechanical bulls, shady tattoo parlors, seedy bars, and all. 😄 It was a good way to begin my day.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators, Tyler Darby and Lexi Evans, are really good. I like both of these narrators a lot.
