In Luke 2:14, God’s angelic host proclaims to the shepherds outside Bethlehem, “Peace on earth! And good will to all who please Him!” In Philippians 4:8-9, Paul lays out what true worship looks like. Then, he connects it directly to peace. In both cases, the source of peace is the same: The word of God. It makes me wise (Matthew 7:24). It gives me fellowship with Him (Luke 8:21). It sanctifies me (John 17:17). Indeed, it is the source of my faith (Romans 10:17).
Witness Christmas was created with biblical models of peace in mind. It combines holy scripture with the soothing word-centered modern folk hymns of ordinary time to create a truly unique worship experience. We hope it draws you closer to God and brings you peace, both in this life and the next.
