thoroughly engaging

I loved this book from page 1. Of course it did help that I also love a Welsh accent. Anyway the story itself was difficult put down. I listened to this book with Audible which made it all the more real to me. Both narrators gave an amazing performance. Near the ending and at the ending were big surprises I did not see coming. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a mystery.

definitely a stretch for the plot but so well written it was enjoyable all the same.

This was an excellent psychological thriller which makes you ponder how far you would go to protect yourself and your child. Is there a point where you become terrified of what you will do for self preservation?

Domestic abuse is a difficult topic to discuss and understand if you haven't experienced it first hand, which I hope that you have not. Witness does a great job of taking readers through a horrifying journey of domestic abuse and all that it does entail and all that it could entail.

Where does Witness rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Witness is right up there with the best audio books. I've only listened to about 12 books, but this and another one are my top two.

What did you like best about this story?

This book had such a great roller coaster ride. You just aren't sure what's going to happen until it's happening.

What about Steve West and Elizabeth Knowelden ’s performance did you like?

I liked that there was a man and a woman voice. It's great to have the duo for multiple POVs.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

This was a book, I didn't want to end!

Just superb!! I can tell you, you will NOT know the ending until you get there!! It’s a shocker! … I was through this book in 3 days! I just gobbled it up.

Caroline Mitchell is a great writer. I love here thrillers. They always have endings that you don’t see coming. A great book, I loved listening to it, love the accent of the female narrator 😊

Just okay

Steven West (voice of Solomon) is awesome! The story was just okay. I did like the back and forth I just felt it was a bit unbelievable. The main character was hard to sympathize with.

Suspend your belief.

I feel like the portrayal of a controlling person/abuser was probably accurate. Something I would never hope to experience. A crime was committed and Solomon was incarcerated. Ten years later he is out. He blackmails Becky into “Witnessing “ 10 crimes, one for each year of his incarceration. Although she always checks her locks and has security cameras she goes out at 2:00 am to comply?? I am thinking Don’t do it! Tell someone! But we would not have a story then would we? Always a plus when you have a male and female narrator.

This writer/narrator combination can do no wrong!

Had me hooked from start to finish! chilling storyline and exciting twists that you don't see coming!

Wonderful Thriller!!

What a great story - you think you know what's happening till the twist at the very end!! Hard to put down.
