Honest Review

I love a good witch story. This short story was interesting and well put together and narrated. I can’t wait to listen to more of the Blood Magic books.

Witches Get Stitches happens to be a prequel to the Blood Magic series, and it gives us a peek into who Jax is, and the hard knock life she grew up in. No wonder why she has trust issues...

Great little story

My first bookish love (besides poetry) was sword and sorcery. This fits right into my original love. And, as a brilliant bonus, it's written in my own country. Tbere's something exciting about hearing names you're familiar with in stories you're reading/listening to/watching.

This is ultimately a story about overcoming bullying because, you are believed by someone who is in control, and as such feeling empowered. And also, about saving the "world" I'm very excited to read the series :)

Roshina Ratnam has really come a long way in her narration from Sticky Fingers, which seemed a little stilted, and her narration flows more naturally now.

Great expansion story

This is the second book I’ve read/listened to by these authors together, and the eleventh book by JT Lawrence. This story is an expansion of recollections by Jax we are privy to in Highfire Crown.
The publisher’s summary is good so I won’t expand much. It’s in this book however Jax is given the suggestion to become a detective.

This is the eighth book I’ve listened to by this narrator ( Roshina Ratham ) and I would listen to another. She does well bringing life to the stories she narrates. She brings out the tone of the book.

There are no explicit sex scenes, excessive violence or swearing.

Close to an hour of excitement

I liked this story, even though it was somewhat predictable. The narration was well done too.

Witches Get Stitches

This is a refreshing short novella introducing Jax as a female wizard. Now this is odd as all wizards are male, but now we have an oddity. I enjoyed this book and it was very sound in its writing. It is the first book of the Blood Magic series that contains 6 volumes. Can't wait for them all.

Wizard Girl Monsters Spells and More!

A great short read where the only female wizard whose parents were killed by a vampire is tormented by the other female witches. She stands strong and is not to be messed with which is admired by a few. In the end, she is permitted to compete at a challenge where not only does she excel but rescues all of the students. I look forward to the next book!

Fantastic Novella

A fantastic Novella that grabs your attention and makes you want to know more. The narrator is wonderful at bringing the story to life. I definitely want to read more in this series & by this author

A good novella intro to this world and it’s characters

This is for this series what say the first few chapters of Harry Potter was to that series. It will introduce you to the MC and the world of magic and muggles that she lives in. It isn’t going to be easy being a female wizard rather than a female witch but she will make it happen. It didn’t hurt when you are also one badass with a crossbow too.
