Acerca de esta escucha
Blythe Hawthorn has never let anyone tell her what to do . . . and she's not about to start now.
Headstrong and passionate, she won't be ruled by society, or by her overprotective father, and certainly not by the man she's bound herself to, no matter how insufferable he is. She's determined to be a thorn in his side for the rest of her days, even as he ensues that her life in his palace is anything but the decadent fairytale she imagined.
But as Blythe discovers a new side of herself linked to his past, she'll have to decide if she's willing to let an unexpected spark ignite . . . and discover the real truth about who she is inside.©2024 Adalyn Grace (P)2024 Hodder & Stoughton Limited

I loved it
Wisteria, the third book in the Belladonna series, beautifully concludes this gothic romantasy trilogy. With its moody, atmospheric setting and tasteful blend of fantasy, romance, murder mystery, and the paranormal, this book delivers a fitting end to the series' captivating story.
At first, I was unsure whether Blythe and Ares could hold the same magnetic pull as Signa and Death did in the earlier books. However, as their story unfolded, their growth, chemistry, and dynamic won me over, keeping me fully engaged throughout. (Although Death is still my favorite character).
While there are still a couple of threads left untied that I wish had been addressed, the majority of the mysteries are resolved in ways that feel satisfying and true to the series' themes.
The performance is a masterpiece. Kristin Atherton’s ability to change her vocal register seamlessly, without ever sounding forced or unnatural, is absolutely mind-blowing. Each character is portrayed perfectly, bringing them vividly to life.
Overall, I really enjoyed the entire Belladonna series.
