This enlightening read has given me insight into the heart of my husband and son that is beyond measure. The men in my life so rarely talk about their feelings and inner most desires, this book allowed for conversations that I might never have had.

I love this book and the way it attributes and develops truly masculine traits that are so often crushed in todays society. John Eldridge has captured a unique glimpse of the masculine image of God that men naturally reflect when not goaded into the nice man persona some want us to adopt. Every Man should read this book!

This places you closer to God while upholding the necessity to keep strength of manhood. Also shows that a clear path is not always the right path. Walk in the woods with God to be led to a greater spiritual victory. Great narration and deep messages.

This could’ve saved my marriage had I found this earlier. I was dead inside because I supressed my true desires and fell into being the nice guy, the pushover , the wimp and ultimately felt unloved by the woman I loved because of it. She in turn felt that I wasn’t fighting for her and we both died inside feeling unloved by the other. This makes so much sense. I am striving to face my fears head on and become truly alive now. A great listen and benefit for both men and women!

This Book is a Life Changer
