The African nation of Wakanda stood alone as an unconquerable land filled with incredible technological advancements for 10 centuries. T'Challa, the latest in a lineage of warrior-kings, is the Black Panther, endowed with enhanced speed and strength, along with a suit made of the indestructible metal that secured his country's future: Vibranium. Now, outsiders have returned to plunder Wakanda's riches - including its store of the rare metal.
Leading this brutal assault is Klaw, an assassin with the blood of T'Challa's father on his hands. Klaw brings with him a powerful army of super-powered mercenaries, all hell-bent on raining death and destruction on this pristine land.

Good depiction of the Black Panther
While there's no replacing Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa, that's an unrealistically high bar and the version in this audiobook is more than serviceable. The caricature general was distractingly cartoonish although I enjoyed the other characters.
After spending so long watching the MCU it's refreshing to hear references to the greater Marvel universe: Reed Richards, Dr. Doom, etc.

Who is The Black Panther? A badass audio book!
This book lured me in like crazy! I couldn't stop listening. The actors did amazing and the pacing and humor in the story was nothing short of captivating. I'm so looking forward to any of these productions in the future and definitely looking forward to any new Black Panther audio books.

I absolutely love this novel it was a movie for my mind and a feast for my senses in my imagination. I have so much pride in the culture that it put the real culture that it portrays and possibilities of what can become if people stand up to Injustice. we could all be superheroes if only we're willing to say enough!!
