Enjoyed

This was an easy and enjoyable summer read. Being an Atlanta native so many of the location discriptions were so easy to envision

Great Read!

I really enjoyed the story. Some women believe that they have no voice when it comes to having a divorce. I wish Penny would have found her voice sooner although I understand why it took her a while. We need a part two with Penny’s new life with Brad and all their children.
I had the pleasure of meeting the author this past weekend in TN, Hope is such an inspiring author, I can’t wait for the next book.

Rushed ending

This book held my attention, and I really liked the story. The author took time to build the characters and went into a lot of detail when describing situations. But the ending storyline was disappointing because it seemed rushed . I needed more information about how everything worked out.

Great Debut Story

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book, following along with Penny and the other cast of colorful characters. I was hooked from the beginning and kept wanting to know what would happen next. Penny's journey from childhood to discovering how freeing forgiveness can be is a strong lesson for us all. Having grown up in a smaller southern town myself, I thought the narration and descriptions were very authentic. Congratulations to Hope Gibbs on this debut novel, and I look forward to many more to come.

Really enjoyed this book! It held my attention as the characters developed. Enjoyed her description of life in the South and the main characters navigating her ever changing circumstances

Not enough about the ending, needed more explanation. Would have liked more I depth information about ex.

Lovely First Novel

Such a lovely novel about a Southern woman who faces a new chapter in life. It follows Penny’s current life with stories from her past and how those shape and develop a wonderful woman. Power to Penny!
