30 Reminders for the Good Days

The sun is shining brightly like you’ll never see a cloudy day again. All is right with the world and everything is going your way. You’re caught up. You’ve made up. Everything is looking up. You have a smile on your face and a song in your heart. The temptation to get cocky is strong. You are starting to forget where you came from And Who brought you here And why you are here. “What’s wrong with everybody else?” The good days can either throw us off track, or we can use them to recalibrate. My prayer is that this little book will help you do the latter. I want this to remind you of how easy it can be to wander off track when life seems easy and carefree. God reminded us in this way, “When you eat and are full, you will praise the LORD your God for the good land He has given you. Be careful that you don't forget the LORD your God by failing to keep His command--the ordinances and statutes--I am giving you today." Deut 8:10-11 Dan 5:18-19 also says this about King Nebuchadnezzar, “Because of the greatness He gave him, all peoples, nations, and languages were terrified and fearful of him. He killed anyone he wanted and kept alive anyone he wanted; he exalted anyone he wanted and humbled anyone he wanted. But when his heart was exalted and his spirit became arrogant, he was deposed from his royal throne and his glory was taken from him.” May the offerings in this book lead you to more faith in the Giver of every perfect gift from above. He will give you the wisdom to use your good days for all kinds of good.
