Told with candour, honesty, bravery and rage, these stories will challenge listeners to reflect on the institutions that so many people take for granted. Whose interests are they really serving? And where can people turn when the institutions that are supposed to protect them are the ones doing the damage?
Warning: This audiobook contains firsthand descriptions of sexual assault, stalking, police brutality, racial abuse (including racial slurs), and corruption. There is also mention of child abuse, pedophilia, substance abuse as well as homophobic and transphobic behaviour. Listener discretion is advised.
