Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

i love this author & so i was thinking of the story based on how his other books go, but this one didn't go like that. i think if i reread it without any expectation, it will appear different. it was still a great book just not a psychological thriller like the others.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Christina Traister?

no...every time she said the word "DAMN" or "DAMNED", she over enunciated "-ed" and other words that had -ed at the end of the word...very distracting

Andrew Kaufman is an amazing author, a fellow dog lover and a decent human. he wrote this book while going through some horrific health issues. he didn't want to let down his fans. and he didn't. Thank you Andrew.

Awful narration

The woman who recorded this didn’t sound credible.it was almost unbearable to listen. She sounded like she was making her voice sound pretentious on purpose. She lacked a natural sound

Midnight oil burner

This is one of the best thrillers I have read in a long time. I was kept up for hours on end not able to put it down! Just when you think you have things figured out-you realize you don't!

Totally Unexpected

This is the second book by Andrew Kaufman that I have read and BOTH are so good! He definitely has a way of making you feel a certain way about the characters, then boom, there's a twist. One of the best writers with a knack for throwing in a complete curveball. I highly recommend both of his books!

Narration was tough

The narration was so affected I found it hard to get through, particularly towards the end. Lots of screaming / yelling that is borderline unpleasant to listen to. I ended up speeding it x1.5, which I would recommend doing from the start.

The story is fine, if somewhat predictable, but I think my experience was marred somewhat by the narration. As others have said (which I regrettably initially ignored) this is definitely one to read on a tablet or the old fashioned way

WOW!!!

Loving this author! What a fantastic story! It's been awhile, but the end made my mouth drop! The twists were a surprise and plentiful! Perfect narrator brings the story alive! Looking for more of this author!

This story was great, but the performance was exceptional. You really get the emotional feeling from the story through the performer's voice. I really loved it.

Unexpected!

Great read and it had me on the edge the entire time. I've never wanted a villain to be captured so badly.

It could have been known much sooner!

OK, it was a good listen. It kept me interested enough that it could be called a page turner in written form. However, why did it have to go on and on? It could have been wrapped up much sooner. I wasn't all that fond of the Narrator screaming "Why, Why, Why? all the way thru either. All in all, I say, it's a good listen on a very long drive.

Must read!

This book was so good I ended up reading it all in one day (well, I actually ended up staying awake until around 3 am, just couldn't put it down). I thought I had it all figured out at first, but there were so many twists and turns, I questioned the motives of a nearly all the characters. It's a great story well written and definitely worth your time.
