Acerca de esta escucha
Texas, 1856. Theodora “Teddy” Sharpe, age 12, and her twin brother, Thad, join their father at a military post near San Antonio where he is in charge of putting cavalrymen on camels in the American West. While seeking a relationship with the father she hasn’t seen in over a year, Teddy jumps into adventures with spitting, biting and bucking camels, as well as scorpions, rattlesnakes, Gila monsters, Indians, and a stealthy enemy determined to ruin her father’s camel project.
This laugh-out-loud funny mystery is based on a little-known true chapter of American history. A terrific book for teens and young adults, it's also a great read-aloud book for younger children, and a wonderful book for adults who like to laugh.

A fun story that is entertaining and educational for all
This was a fun read. Yes there were some parts that were suspenseful, funny and entertaining, as well as being educational. The characters were either likable or despicable. The scenes were carefully set. The story was a good one. I enjoyed this book.
