Powerful and much-needed message for all women. Life-changing, thank you, Lysa, you are a blessing and this book changed my heart and priorities. I had decided that I no longer could go on as a lukewarm Christian and it helped me understand so much about the path I can no longer let stand idle. I had a major breakthrough and understanding of how old, stale, expired feelings can keep one frozen and stuck from living the joyful journey God wills for my life. I now have a plan, because of what I learned from this book. I feel now I can walk closer to God, and begin to share my testimony. As a much younger woman, I had a life filled with death at many corners. Many people would find what I have been through hard to believe. I have always understood God did not let this happen to me, however, what was surely meant to kill me he made so much good because I loved him even in the midst of a very dangerous lifestyle, He was never distant from me. I was saved so many times that I knew if I survived God would one day use my story to save young women from the grips of the lifestyle that caught me at a very vulnerable time. He blessed me and saved me from suffering any longer, by giving me my first of four children. As I learned I was blessed with Amanda I got out. Amanda is 30 years old now, and I finally know what I need to begin doing, thanks to your book my trauma will be testimony. I saw the sermon you gave a few months back at Elevation Church on YouTube and was so moved I spent most of the morning through the afternoon watching it over and over again. Last night as I was getting ready for my bath I searched for an inspirational Christian book. I had subscribed to your youtube channel, and wrote your name in my notebook. I just scrolled audible looking for a title that caught my eye. “women who say yes to God”, and a free read, I tapped on it and was brought to tears, God has not given up on me I cried as I heard the name of the author! Out of thousands of books, again God put you in front of me. I am overwhelmed with The Holy Spirit in the best way. God bless your heart Lysa, there is no doubt that you are a powerful, blessed vessel for Christ. I strive to live my life as close to Jesus as I possibly can. You will forever be one of the two women who has profoundly inspired and impacted a major awakening from confused, depressed Woman who is once again saying YES to GOD! Life changing.

I believe everyone should read and soak up as many books as they can by Lysa TerKeurst. I first came across her devotional, “You’re going to make it” by accident at our small town hardware store and felt it on such a deep and personal level that I knew I had to find more from her. Her books, her devotionals helped me to realize God isn’t so far away. He’s right in the midst of every one of our messes, waiting for us to notice Him and ask for help. This book too was a great read. There were moments that even drew tears, and nods of agreement. God is so good. I’m so thankful for this author. That she listens to God and writes how and what she does. I can’t imagine how many lives have been changed through her, and all because she said Yes to God. What a blessing.
