listened to it 3 times because I needed to change!

I enjoy learning through stories filled with practical insight. I have my entire office and leadership staff listening to this book to help change our team culture. I didn't realize I would apply the same principles at home. To make a change to this mindset requires a continuous process of catching yourself and redirecting yourself back toward the Whale Done method. It's sort of a reboot for me because I was deffinately a " Gotcha "Owner. You will see what I mean when you read or listen to the book. Go for it it could change everything for the better!

I enjoyed listening to the life-enriching stories of other people and linking these experiences to my own. You can stride with them in their struggles, their challenges, their hope, their faith, their triumph, their success, and their reflection. Truly...this epic story is well worth listening.

This book brings to light an obvious approach to management and life that is often overlooked. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Great concept - Sea World makes me uncomfortable

I have to admit, this was really tough for me to listen to. I had a fellow supervisor recommend I listen to it. I really enjoy the concept so much and have even started to implement it in my marriage and have seen a difference in me & my husband. I really wish it wasn’t about sea world though. Makes me uncomfortable to listen them talking about Shamu. I’ll come up with my own name for this concept.

This book is definitely a life-changer for those who struggle with developing and sustaining healthy relationships, regardless the type. It is a must-read for all people but particularly those in leadership roles.

I love Ken Blanchard's books and listen to 3 of them at least 1 per month every month. "Raving Fans" the plus 1% changed my business life 20 years ago and I have depended on it and shared it through the years. "Hung Ho" The Spirit of the Squirrel, Way of the Beaver and Gift of the Goose have helped my team through the years. "Whale Done" this is a book that has helped me see that positive motivation, redirection and an attitude of support and understand are a much better and happier way to work with people. Especially my family!

Listen! Worth every minute.

A lot of this book is a lifestyle I have already adapted due to personal preference however like most everyone else out there I fail frequently. I will be working on that.
