Acerca de esta escucha

There aren't always two sides to every story, sometimes there's seven.

Twenty years ago, Jessie Johnson went missing while camping with her best friends. When her body was discovered and Travis Hawkins was arrested, Nikki and her friends thought the secret of what really happened that night was safe–until investigative journalist Ramona Jacobs came to town and started asking questions.

But when Ramona is murdered and no one fesses up to the heinous slaying, the tight-knit group of women begin to find holes within their friendship. With each of them questioning their friends' loyalty to the group and their reputations on the verge of being ruined, they quickly discover that no one can be trusted.

The twists and turns of the authors writing will have you creating your own board of clues and mental pictures trying to piece this mystery together. In a book which demonstrates the need for control and power from a female perspective is intriguing. So many characters were pulled into this web of lies without ever being asked to truly play a part. Just as in chess, every single prove is needed but not needed to win the game, just to out smart the opponent! Excellent read!
