I'm a huge parks and rec fan. I really enjoyed hearing all of Jim's anecdotes, and it's a must read/listen for any parks and rec fan.

Loved it! You did great Jim!

While I loved the experience from Jim’s point of view, I also loved that it was also a collaboration! Loved the showed and miss it! This was a great listen to also reminisce about my own favorite moments from the show. Now, off to sign up for Peacock to rewatch…again ❤️

Fun, heartfelt, and personal storytelling

This was a joy to listen to. I went back multiple times to hear certain sections. A must have to enjoy for Parks & Rec fans or just fans of loving friends and artistic collaboration.

Great insight into Parks and Rec and also an actors journey!

Jim O’Heir is both kind and earnest in his documenting of the Parks and Rec family. I heard him on a podcast of Julie Jancius’, and he was such a fun and enjoyable speaker I had to get the book! I was not disappointed. The story is told in such a way that you feel like you’re sitting at a table with him and all his incredible friends. ( including the phenomenal Mike Schur and Greg Daniels!) It felt like he was just chit-chatting about his career and Parks and Rec. I get the feeling he is probably one of the nicest people in Hollywood, because he sees the good in everyone. I would guess he is, in fact, the “Ted Lasso” of LA!
Thanks Jim for giving us a glimpse of the cast and crew of Parks and Rec, that became a part of your family and gave us fans such joy! Bravo!

An ok but not amazing time

There's some fun stories about the making of Parks and Rec. There's also stories of Jim O'Heir's life - fair enough. There's an almost unhealthy amount of praise bestowed upon Chris Pratt. It's also weird that the guest sections are voiced by different people trying to sound like Mike Schur and the gang.

This delightful stroll down memory lane sheds light on many memorable moments from Parks, while also giving a glimpse into the life of not so well known actors in Hollywood. A fantastic listen for any Parks fan!

Story could have focused a bit more on Parks and less on Hollywood, but I can see why Jim included some of the side stories. It flows really well and he brings it to life!

A wonderful walk down 100 State Street memory lane and a bit of baring of the soul from Jim O'Heir.

A deep insight into Parks and Rec, the Man behind the mask of Jerry/Larry/ Barry/Terry/Gary, and the bonds that bind the cast of one of the GREATEST shows of all time. I thoroughly enjoyed this peek behind the curtain at one of my favorite iconic shows and under the hood of a wonderfully talented and lovable man's life and mind. Seeing how close at times the lines between actor and character blur is fascinating and I learned so much about a show I thought I knew everything about already. Thanks for making this happen team!
