Good Science Fiction

I appreciate a good science fiction story with no agenda but a solid, entertaining story. Thank You!

Book 2 worth a listen not a credit

If you can n for free it’s worth it. I wouldn’t pay a credit. The story is ok narration is pretty ok.I finished it so it was a time waster and not much else to say.On to book 3

Nice Story Line but Terrible Ending

I loved the first 75% of this book and was happy to learn about this origin story of the main character. The last few missions were really pretty disappointing and really felt rushed (although with only 7.5 hours I don't know why they'd want to rush the end).

It would be nice to see the follow up story and I will get it once available.

The narration by Cris Dukehart was solid.

Increased In Time

Starts out slow but hang on tight because by the end it is moving fast.

narration took some getting used to.

Amazing job of telling how the tour Tangela are bred and raised and are meted to their riders. The i’d like to see another book by this author and with these characters.

very touching story about a spider and her pet chipmunk. damn near tore my heart out.

Diversion Not Expected

This diverges from the usual 4 Horsemen fare as it's about the story of one of thr large spider like aliens & it's rodent like partner from very young childhood into adulthood from the spider akien's point of view. Humans don't even enter the picture except with bit parts at the end as enemy combatants.
To me was more like a YA coming of age story with a twist & not what I expected or wanted in a 4 Hoseman tale.
Totally different from Book 1 and thankfully, from Book 3 as well.
If you like the type of story I described above, or are keenly interested in an in depth story of an alien life form, filled with the usual oddman out angst of childhood/teen years then have at it. Otherwise skip to Book 3. Personally I don't think it should've been here in this Series. Just my opinion & one which, I'm sure, many will disagree with.

hardcore space Opera Syfy.

The premise is a POV of alien species of extreme alien alieness, And it's pulled off beautifully. the giant monster tarantula and the murder ferret both come off as charming interesting with an interesting political backstory shaped by the slave status and forced genetic engineering of the tarantulas and murder ferrets.
