Over all great book but narrator was ok

Was an amazing read and answered a lot of my questions all in all great book

This is the first audio book I've ever listened to, and I was pretty unsure of how I'd feel about it but this was a great experience ! The reader did such a good job narrating and her voices for all the different cats were so cute, I loved the entire book 🩷

A lot of time jumps

l LOVED the way there was loads of time jumps.i like that because it's very fast and interesting my only problem was the narrator I personally think her voice was quite slow so I put it up to 1.25 speed but some people might like it slow so yeah its up to u overall the story is PREFECT

I missed MacLeod Andrews! But Good.

I am sooooooo hooked on the ENTIRE series and MacLeod Andrews, so it was pretty hard to get beyond missing him; however, the story came along and that’s what’s important. At least she brings the characters to life, just as MacLeod does, only perhaps not as well as we’re conditioned to with MacLeod. I plan to listen to this again, though, because I need to make sure I didn’t lose focus over the different narrator. The book, itself, is excellent, and Lisa did do well, the audience is mainly used to MacLeod, so it’s a massive curve ball for us.

I never knew Bluestar had such a tragic beginning. What a strong cat and excellent leader!

A classic Warriors book

Bluestar struggles with an absent father who replaces his wife immediately after she dies with a new, younger wife and her sister who loves a murderer who beats up children in his free time.
Male character voices were pretty meh, Crookedstar didn't even get a unique tone for his crooked jaw, but overall not bad.

Great book!

Man poor Bluestar in this book. her whole life was just suffering and it was so sad to read about. I’m glad she found Fireheart, and Yellowfang and some of the other cats though I bet having them around made it slightly better for her.
