A true gem!
Such a wonderful book. Truly inspiring. Proof that what you’re handed in life doesn’t dictate who you are meant to be. It’s an eye opener as well to the issues some kids deal with on a daily basis…just trying to eat and have the basics in life, while everyone is oblivious to it. Heartfelt
This is a lovely book of triumph of the human spirit and will to change his life. But the strangers who took him in and loved him as he became a young man. This isn’t a shallow book. It’s goal is to turn you to action to help any way you can with foster kids. There are so many ways to help!! I cried during the book several times then at the end because it was over. I’ll miss all those friends.
