A Christmas break up story

Half of this story was Wade dealing with being engaged to a woman with zero redeeming qualities.
His fiancée and her parents were manipulative, awful people. Between his current choice of fiancée and his past choice to leave Marina (because she wasn’t in his league, per his family), it was hard to see him as any sort of great catch. The only thing he had going for him was making her hot cocoa. 🙄

This being a full cozy, fixated on descriptions of old homes / antiques, and
focused more on the cute than the funny all combined for a vanilla listen.
