I finally found the courage within me to stand up to the MAN

In 2019 I worked for a company abroad. I was the only female senior in a company with well over 3000 staff. They set me up when I arrived, feet dragging yet I created excused like “oh they are just busy”. It was clear from the beginning that I wasn’t respected or deemed important. I bypassed these signs and later found myself working without pay for as long as 5 months. The rent wasn’t paid for my apartment either (it was apart of the package that the company would cover this express). I became stressed and worn out..eventually having to ask family for help to get me home. Last week (Jan 2023) about 30 mins into Abbey’s book, I sent a threatening message to the man I worked for and demanded that I get the pay that I deserve. Thank you Abbey, I am not alone. We ARE the Wolfpack!
