プロフィール 堀口 茉純（ほりぐち ますみ）
東京都足立区生まれ。幼少期より時代劇に親しむ。
小学4年生の時、司馬遼太郎の本に出会い、沖田総司に初恋。山脇学園中学・高等学校の頃の成績は歴史のみ「5」。明治大学在学中に文学座付属演劇研究所で演技の勉強に取り組み、大学卒業後に『八州廻り桑山十兵衛』で時代劇デビュー。以降女優として舞台やテレビドラマに多数出演する。
2008年に江戸文化歴史検定一級を当時としては最年少記録で取得すると、「江戸に詳しすぎるタレント ＝ お江戸ル "ほーりー"」
として注目を集め歴史好きのアイドル的存在に。
タレントとしてテレビ・ラジオに出演するのは勿論、イベント、講演、youtubeなど活動の幅を広げ、国際浮世絵学会会員資格も取得。
