Hall had been one of several men who’d raped Paige’s friend, and while the statute of limitations has run out and tied the hands of law, Paige wanted to make Hill face the fact he’d destroyed a young woman’s life. Now Paige is facing off with a hard-nosed detective determined to stick a murder charge to a Fed. Overall enjoyable but....
I am really enjoying this series but some of the relationship stuff just seems ridiculous. If the woman you're sleeping with is accused of murder and she makes her one phone call to her FBI coworker instead of you, regardless of their past, and you throw a hissy fit there's something wrong with you. Are people really this petty and self absorbed?! I don't know but all this jealousy nonsense in the middle of something so serious really grates on my nerves.
