In Berlin gibt es einen Senatsbeschluss, nach dem neue Straßen nur nach weiblichen Personen benannt werden dürfen. Sackgassen inbegriffen. Eine neue Studie des Wirtschaftsministeriums zeigt, dass Solarparks auch nachts genügend Strom liefern können, wenn man die Anlagen unter Flutlicht betreibt. Technisch wäre das heute schon möglich. Aber die großen Konzerne verhindern das leider.
Der Wissenschaftskabarettist und Physiker Vince Ebert zieht Bilanz: Sind wir in den letzten Jahren rationaler, besonnener oder gar klüger geworden? Spoiler Alarm: Nein, sind wir nicht. Nur 18 % der Bevölkerung tragen einen Fahrradhelm, aber 91 % nutzen eine Schutzhülle für ihr Handy.
Wenn die Realität immer mehr zur Satire wird, wenn Regierungserklärungen praktisch nicht mehr von Postillon-Artikeln unterscheidbar sind – wie bitte soll man das als Satiriker noch toppen?
Doch Vince Ebert gibt nicht auf. Nach außen mag er ein alter weißer Mann sein. Doch das ist nur ein soziales Konstrukt. In Vince of Change identifiziert er sich als 32-jähriger braungebrannter Surflehrer aus Kalifornien und spricht damit vollkommen neue Zielgruppen an. Denn seine Mission betrifft uns alle: In einer Epoche, die immer mehr durch Gefühle, Befindlichkeiten und Irrationalitäten zu versinken droht, hält er trotzig die Fahne der Vernunft hoch. Und außerdem braucht er das Geld.
