No spoiler - just not my fave in the series
The author gives plenty of clues in this individual book - in a very good series - that an attentive listener/reader will probably be exasperated that the main characters explore so many other red herrings and wrong suspects and for hours of listening time they just don’t see the obvious solutions. The other annoying matter - for any true dog lover - in this particular book is that the author doesn’t think to have the main character feed daily meals to a certain big dog that appears at this pile of stones residence. Also was it legal to hold one of the several suspects for so many days with only circumstantial evidence? A good editor or preview readers might have fixed these issues. Anyway, this book is a bit weaker than the other books in the series, but I will still listen to the next book.
