Better than the First
The first book in this series plod along setting everything up, but it took me over 8 hours before becoming invested. Rest assured that was not a problem here. The story picks up where the first ended, and the questions of what happened to earth begin to be untangled. The interplay between characters is certainly fun and entertaining, and the lore is fascinating.
Definitely pick this up if you're a fan of Progression Fantasy.

Total Immersion!!!!
I already trust Ivan Kal. I'll read anything he writes at least once
...Guild Master and Infinite Realms r some of favorite series, period.
But this thing right here is next level ...it's been a while since I was sad for a book to end. I need more of this story and I need right now.
It's not just a novel magic system, its not just great lore, and world building, but the characters in this story have depth that kicks everything about the story into another gear.
Lots of ppl write stories in this genre, lots of them have great ideas that r fun to consider/explore, and I love reading them and I'm grateful.
...but the fact of the matter is, very few of them are actually truly talented story-tellers.
Ivan Kal has the formula. This guy deserves a lot more recognition.
His stories are like crack ....he always leaves u wanting more!!!
U shud definitely check this book out ...spend the credit ...n check out all his other stuff too.
I promise you'll be glad u did.
