The love of Jesus “is a love that cannot be understood. It can only be felt.”
I cannot adequately put into words how beautiful this depiction of the Advent of Jesus is from Anne Voskamp. She graciously shares with the world her own insight from God with her writing and reading of Unwrapping the Greatest Gift. Her gift of words and insight encourages me to slip on 3D glasses, supplied by God, before opening up the Bible. There are more facets to this jewel, always more to be revealed by the Spirit. This book is a wonderful gift, in itself, to be unwrapped and read anytime.

Prepared my heart
I listened to this soothing voice every day leading up to Christmas and I was so ready for the greatest Gift of all. Jesus, on Christmas day, put a fire in my heart to love Him more!

small enough daily readings my small children could follow, important enough content that my heart was filled. will be buying this book for my friends. definitely not just another book to check off the list, but one to actually make your Christmas and your life better.

Ann Voskamp's voice is soothing. ❤😌
She has a talent for writing poetically.
The theology is not always on par with Scripture; however, I do enjoy getting a peek into how she sees the world, her delightful imagination, and her love for Christ.
